Your health needs do not stop during a pandemic, and we continue to work alongside family doctors in our PCN to support you safely.
We adapted to the pandemic with virtual appointments, enhanced screening processes, and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect our patients’ and teams’ health.
If your family doctor (or Health Link) refers you to our clinic, the Primary Care Centre, for a same-day appointment because they can’t see you, please know we have multiple safety measures in place, including:

Your family doctor knows you best and how to help you, whether with a doctor’s appointment or a referral. Don’t put off contacting your doctor when you need help.

Research shows that people who have a relationship with their family doctor are healthier and live longer. They are also less likely to become hospitalized.
